Olympic swimmer Beard sues tanning salon company

Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard has sued a tanning salon company in California, claiming it used her name and likeness without permission. The lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court claims ProSun posted the swimmer's picture on its Web site "to create the impression that Beard endorses ProSun products."

The shots are from a photo shoot in Hawaii for Triathlete magazine. But who cares? ItÂ’s Amanda Beard in a bikini! I realize she is not the prettiest of girls, especially with those eyebrows of her. But you have to agree she has a killer body that any guy would appreciate. Plenty more pictures at the source site including he wedgie picture.

The last time the world looked at Amanda Beard she was winning her first individual Olympic gold medal at the Athens Games. There's a lot more of the 25-year-old swimmer on view in the July issue of Playboy, where a topless Beard is on the cover billed as "the world's sexiest athlete nude."
