Radiohead's poor sounding new music

Celebrity: Radiohead - (Bio) - (Pics)

Well a week after Radiohead rocked the music industry by offering a pay-what-you-want choice for their new music, it turns out the new music has poor sound quality. Good sound for MP3's is at 320 kbps. The new music is encoded at 160 kbps. Does the band have an ulterior motive? An attempt to get its fans to buy the CD?!?!? aaaaagh

While yes its true 160kbps isn't quite good enough, its not the end of the world.

Ideally I would prefer my mp3s encoded at 192kbps vbr.

That's the problem with people on the Internet...they complain about everything. See even now I am complaining about complaining.

By the way, I've been listening to the new album the past few days and it owns.

Songs like "Nude" have been sung live ever since the OK Computer tour. There are one or two others like that too. They were just never put down on a CD.
