WE think R.E.M. rocker Michael Stipe is taking the title of his new record, "Accelerate," a bit too seriously. Page Six learned the crooner busted his leg in a go-carting accident about two weeks ago, but reps told us, "He's going to be fine." Stipe was spotted hobbling around on crutches at last week's Cat Power show and on Monday night.
