He was born in the city I grew up in. According to wikipedia:

He was born with dead nerve endings in his lower left lip. Ventimiglia attended El Modena High School in Orange, California. He graduated in 1995.

I believe that is the school cozgotti went to. I personally do not like her dating somebody so much older than her. But, it is only dating, not marriage...... oh and maybe the dead nerve ending gives him a weird smile.
