The Dark Knight" may be racking up rave reviews & breaking sales record, but fans are already salivating to know: when will we get a sequel? Warner Bros. has lined up German director Uwe Boll to direct a sequel coming out in 2009 called "The Dark Knight Forever." Now that Christian Bale is moving onto other projects the studio picked Patrick Dempsey to take his place.

I agree.The thought of Dr Derek Sheppard instead of Christian Bale is sickening. Let's hope it's just a rumor.

Wow. Thats crap on stick. Amazing that hasnt extensively hit the web. Why? Its a lie. Bale, Oldman and Caine and I believe Freeman too, have been contracted to do 3 movies since Batman Begins. And Goyer hinted that its more than likely Nolan will direct the final third movie although it isnt confirmed yet. This HAS to be a joke, and if it is- um... NOT FUNNY.
