for one, she is the daughter of Ravi Shankar who is the king of sitar and in the mid sixties gave three memorable concerts - Monterey Pop Festival, Concert for Bangla Desh and The Woodstock Festival. She has a sultry voice. Norah won 9 grammies from 2003 to 2008. The 2 songs I know the best are "Come Away with Me", and "Don't know why" which are more of the pop vocal type music. she collaborated with the Foo Fighters in 2005. The song was nominated for a "Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaborations with Vocals" in 2006.
