The music video for House Of Cards, from the band’s 2007 album In Rainbows, was shot entirely by scanning systems that use lasers instead of lenses to capture the image. Radiohead’s lead singer Thom Yorke said the idea of filming people without using a camera captivated him. "I always like the idea of using technology in a way that it wasn't meant to be used,”[Source]

According to Radiohead's official blog DeadSpace, they are having a free webcast for New Years. This is NOT a live webcast, but a pre-recording "of some songs and other bits". Radiohead's former music label EMI, had an ad come up when someone searched for "Radiohead" at Google that said, "Radiohead - New Album 'In Rainbows' now available as boxset". The only problem with this is that they aren't sign to EMI anymore and don't own the right to resell their work. The ad link led to a boxset of their previous records.[Source]

This isn't gossip, but its interesting nonetheless. According to comScore, a large portion of Radiohead "In Rainbows" fans wanted their music for little to no money. 62% got the mp3s for nothing, while only 4% bought it for close to a regular compact disc price of 12-20 dollars. This seems to be fairly accurate, so how much did you pay?[Source]

Well a week after Radiohead rocked the music industry by offering a pay-what-you-want choice for their new music, it turns out the new music has poor sound quality. Good sound for MP3's is at 320 kbps. The new music is encoded at 160 kbps. Does the band have an ulterior motive? An attempt to get its fans to buy the CD?!?!? aaaaagh[Source]

This albums price is decided by you, the consumer and listener. You can choose to pay 10 dollars, 0 dollars, it doesnt matter! Pay what you think its worth. [Source]
